Larry K. Morrow, MIA
May 29, 1972  South Vietnam
SP5 Larry Kane Morrow, gunner/observer, was a member of Troop H (Air), 17th Armored Cavalry Squadron.  He and his pilot, WO1 Gerald D. Spradlin, were on a visual reconnaisance mission May 29, 1972 when their helicopter came under heavy enemy fire.  The helicopter sustained heavy damage to the flight control system and crashed.  The Command and Control aircraft in the area did not detect any survivors and were forced to leave the area when they too received heavy enemy fire.  When a search by US and ARVN personnel was conducted of the crash site June 30, 1972, SP5 Morrow's helmet was recovered along with the remains of WO1 Spradlin.  Specialist Morrow's remains were never located. He remains unaccounted for even though the US Army declared him killed in action/body not recovered in November 1973.  This page is dedicated to him and will remain here until he is returned home.  This page is also dedicated to his loved ones and specially dedicated to all the men and women who served our country during the Vietnam War.   They are my heroes, they protected me and kept me safe during the years I was growing up terrified the war would come home to the United States.  They are worthy of our respect and should all be honored.  Please show your respect by visiting Operation Just Cause and finding out how you can help, and also how you can adopt a POW/MIA.  Thank you And Welcom Home.
